Affordable Housing Finance in Africa: Promoting and ensuring access to sustainable human settlements, and working with informality

This a presentation paper prepared and presented at Planning Africa conference held in Durban, South Africa on the 18^th of September 2012. The presentation is on the growth and demand for housing on the continent, looking at various affordability indicators within different countries.
