Data Action Briefs: Housing Sector Data in Nigeria

The NMRC in collaboration with the National Bureau of Statistics and Central Bank of Nigeria have been working towards establishing a National Housing Data Centre (NHDC) leveraging on the existing Housing Market Information Portal (HMIP). The mission of the NHDC is to collect, store and disseminate housing data in Nigeria, to support better investment decision-making for affordable housing, and the growth of working affordable housing markets in Nigeria. In support of this effort, we have developed several data action briefs highlighting the opportunities for key players to build Nigeria’s housing data landscape recommendations for high value interventions that unlock, disseminate, disaggregate and gather data. 

The data action briefs are targeted towards the Central Bank of Nigeria, National Bureau of Statistics, National Population Commission, Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company and the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria. Click on the icons to download the data action briefs.
