Discussion Session: Access to Housing Finance in Zambia

The purpose of the workshop was to identify key issues affecting access by the poor to affordable housing finance. The workshop was also tasked with identifying areas requiring further research with a view to finding areas of opportunity for CAHF to support developments in housing finance in Zambia. The discussions were preceded by a summary presentation by David Gardner, of his report “Overview of the housing finance sector in Zambia”, a report commissioned by CAHF, which forms part of the “Access to Housing Finance in Africa: Exploring the Issues” series.
