Financing low income housing in Africa: appropriate models

Shelter Afrique held their 31st AGM and Symposium last week in Kigali, Rwanda.  The meeting involved excellent presentations from a wide range of practitioners across Africa.  This presentation sets out the key challenges facing housing financiers and investors in Africa, and suggests that understanding the demand parameters in more detail makes it possible for practitioners to find opportunities for market development.
