Getting real about affordable housing: what will it take to make it work?
In June 2019, Kecia Rust presented at the African Housing Investment Summit, in Nairobi, Kenya. She highlighted recent research that CAHF has undertaken in affordable housing across Africa, and specifically in Kenya. This presentation takes five perspectives on affordability: affordability itself, delivery capacity, financing capacity, municipal capacity, and the value chain. It also references the Housing Economic Value Chain analysis recently done for Kenya.
