Ghana Housing Profile

Ghana’s housing history has never been a large component of national economic planning but rather a part of the welfare sector, with international agencies funding most housing programmes. Housing is now seen as a driver of economic growth and as such Ghana is preparing a National Housing policy. Issues such as access to land, land management, key players, housing finance, infrastructure and building materials are some of the important topics that are covered in the report.
