Housing Finance in sub-Saharan Africa: Opportunities and challenges

This presentation was given at the African Union for Housing Finance  (AUHF) annual conference titled ‘Housing Finance in the Context of Robust Economic Growth but Ongoing Poverty’. The presentation covered the current state of access to financial services, housing affordability and finance, and the developments in housing policy. The presentation provided opportunities and challenges including appropriate housing finance products, stimulating investor interest and integrating disparate sectors.
