Housing Finance Temperature Gauge 1/2011

The housing finance temperature gauge provides indicative information on the status of access to housing finance, the payment performance of consumers with housing loans in South Africa, and the activity levels of large scale developers that build affordable housing. The findings are derived from a perception survey conducted with the major mortgage providers, non bank mortgage lenders, incremental housing financiers, and affordable housing developers in South Africa for the first quarter ending March 2011. This is the inaugural edition.
