Housing Investors Dashboard: Capturing the Right Data and Identifying Gaps

Presentation by Kecia Rust, the Executive Director of the Centre for Affordable Housing Finance in Africa (CAHF), during the 29th Annual African Union for Housing Finance Conference, held in Mauritius. The conference was titled “Mobilising Capital for Housing Finance”. The conference addressed a key challenge faced by housing lenders across the continent, i.e. raising enough capital to meet the growing demand for housing finance. The conference was hosted by AUHF-member, the Mauritius Housing Company, the AUHF conference included presentations by industry experts, panel discussions focusing on Chinese investment in residential development in Africa, on new investment opportunities and challenges, and on donor investment interest in housing finance in Africa.
