Job opening: Data Agenda & Open Access Programme Manager

CAHF is looking for a Programme Manager to lead its Data Agenda for Housing in Africa.  The  Data Agenda  & Open Access Programme Manager is responsible for developing and driving the Data Agenda for Housing in Africa including establishing and driving the Open Access initiative.  They will require the technical competence to guide the collection and analysis of large and multi-faceted datasets, working with data technicians to ensure that efficient and effective systems are in place, and with analysts to ensure that the right questions are asked of the data.  Coming out of the analysis and responding to what is needed in the sector, they will be responsible for producing or overseeing the production of a series of outputs on a regular (quarterly) basis and integrating this work within the wider CAHF programme.

The Data Agenda Programme Manager will be responsible for engaging with key stakeholders and partners to the Data Agenda and Open Access initiative – investors, DFIs, investees and developers among others.  Working with the Executive Director, they will set up an alliance of like-minded investors in affordable housing, first in Kenya and then across Africa – and engage with them to realise the goals of the Open Access initiative and the wider Data Agenda for Africa.  The Programme Manager will need to be strategic and focused, able to respond quickly to opportunities as they arise while still committed to driving the implementation of the agreed programme of work to realise the anticipated results.
