Households in South Africa earning between R3,501-R15,000 a month can apply to the Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Programme (FLISP). Households earning between R3,501-R3,700 per month are eligible to apply for an R87,000 subsidy, in terms of the updated FLISP values. For every R200 less earned a month, an additional R1175 subsidy is offered. Households earning R14901-R15000 per month are eligible to apply for a R20,000 subsidy – from there, households earning less qualify for a progressively larger subsidy.
