Nigeria Housing Data Dashboard
Using publicly available data from the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, the Nigeria Housing Data Dashboard has been developed through the partnership between the Centre for Affordable Housing Finance in Africa, the Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company and 71point4, with funding from the French Development Agency AFD. The dashboard uses data from the 2018 Nigeria Living Standards Survey and visualises key indicators linked to household and dwelling characteristics. These indicators can be examined either by owner or renter households, exploring the mortgageability of dwellings in Nigeria and the mortgage eligibility of potential borrowers. The dashboard intends to provide the data needed to understand the challenges and opportunities in Nigeria’s affordable housing sector.
