Providing Shelter; a squiz beyond the gap

Considering the vast statistical attention on the colossal housing gap in Sub-Saharan Africa, some efforts have been made to provide solutions. However, there has been more emphasis on the housing gaps and minimal attention to existing solution providers and the challenges they experience. Multiple stakeholders have contributed various efforts – public and national government agencies, private companies, civil society organizations, and multinational institutions. Through interacting with numerous active players contributing to solving the housing gap across sub-Saharan Africa, one can gain a better understanding of the market challenges and propose viable solutions.

This report is an output of their interactions with industry experts and an exhaustive review of relevant projects, reports, and published opinions.
