Tenure Support Centre Case Study: Ending a 20-year battle to get a title deed

The Tenure Support Centre (TSC) has been operational since July 2018 and since then has seen over 2000 clients with various property-related issues. The most common issue relates to problems with title deeds. This case study is about Simphiwe who is looking forward to building a formal subsidy house through the People’s Housing Process (PHP) after the Tenure Support Center (TSC) helped him get a title deed for his property in Site B, Khayelitsha.
