TSC Case Load: 17 September 2019

Since opening its doors in July 2018, the Transaction Support Centre has engaged with 276 clients. Of these, they’ve lodged transfer on five, finalised another 13 cases and are waiting instruction on a further 43. Seven title deeds have been handed over, to date. Many of the 189 cases in progress involve title deed issues, involving informal cash sales, transfers required as a result of deceased estates, divorce or donation; problems with the primary transfer, and other administrative issues.  The TSC undertook 61 checks of the Housing Subsidy System database to check for client subsidy eligibility – of these, 45 clients were eligible.  The TSC also undertook 43 credit checks, of which 11 were found to be eligible for further credit.  The TSC was unable to assist with 26 cases.
