AUHF Factsheet: A Review of Uganda's Housing Data Landscape
This document is targeted at Uganda’s key data producers and custodians and provides a summary of the Data Landscape Review’s main findings and recommendations.
Uganda’s data landscape is characterised by some data gaps along the value chain. Closing some data gaps may only require refining household questionnaires or disseminating data in disaggregated format that is already collected through regulatory reporting. In some cases, shortcomings in the quality of available data pertains to indicator definitions, poor accessibility or being too aggregated. However, the review of Uganda’s data landscape reveals opportunities for increased collaboration by key data producers and custodians in Uganda to improve data availability and support the development of Uganda’s housing market.
