Rejoignez-nous à Abidjan, en Côte d’Ivoire, pour une conférence co-organisée par le Centre pour le Financement du Logement Abordable en Afrique (CAHF) et l’Union Africaine pour le Financement du Logement (AUHF), en janvier 2025, sous le thème « L’impact économique du logement en Afrique francophone : tirer parti du logement abordable pour promouvoir la croissance et le développement économiques.
S’appuyant sur le succès de la table ronde de Windhoek, en Namibie, où nous nous sommes réunis avec Shelter Afrique et le gouvernement namibien pour explorer l’impact profond du secteur du logement sur les économies africaines, cette conférence marque une étape importante dans le partage de notre travail et les réflexions sur les économies du logement en Afrique de l’Ouest. Prévu pour coïncider avec le 10e anniversaire du CAHF et le 40e anniversaire de l’AUHF, cet événement sera une occasion capitale, réunissant des représentants gouvernementaux des pays francophones aux côtés des principaux acteurs de la chaîne de valeur du logement. Ensemble, nous approfondirons la question cruciale de l’influence du secteur du logement sur le paysage économique des pays d’Afrique francophone.

Building on the success of the Roundtable in Windhoek, Namibia, where we convened with Shelter Afrique and the Namibian Government to explore the profound impact of the housing sector on African economies, this conference marks a significant milestone in sharing our work and deliberating on housing economies in West Africa. Scheduled to coincide with the 10th anniversary of CAHF and the 40th anniversary of AUHF, this event will be a momentous occasion, bringing together governmental representatives from French-speaking nations alongside key stakeholders in the housing value chain. Together, we will delve into the crucial issue of how the housing sector influences the economic landscape of French-speaking African countries.
