Joint Press Release: Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Urban Planning Backs Joint AUHF & CAHF Conference on Housing’s Economic Impact in Francophone Africa

Joint press release from the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Urban Planning (MCLU-Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire) and the Centre for Affordable Housing Finance (CAHF)

From 30 January to 1 February 2025, Abidjan will host an international conference on affordable housing in Africa, a catalyst for the continent’s economy.

Under the patronage of the Ivorian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Urban Planning, the Centre for Affordable Housing Finance (CAHF) and the African Union for Affordable Housing Finance (AUHF), in collaboration with UN-Habitat, will be organizing this major event.

The conference will bring together policy-makers, experts, financial institutions and representatives of civil society to examine strategies for increasing the impact of affordable housing on African economies.
