Online portal: Kenyan literature and documents

Kenya’s affordable housing sector has long been the subject of research and analysis – and reports are available from a wide array of organisations.  This dashboard showcases literature and industry documents  that have been produced over the past twenty years, and provides direct links to the websites where those documents are located.  We intend to grow the list far beyond the 160+ reports listed here.  Please explore the content and let us know what you think.  You can submit any recommendations for new sources to be included in this portal, below. This portal was prepared with support from FSD Kenya which launched its affordable housing programme in October 2020.  We are grateful to the contributions from colleagues at Reall, the World Bank, AfD, UN-Habitat, Habitat for Humanity International and the Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter, the African Development Bank, the African Local Currency Bond Fund, Cytonn, the European Union, Cenfri, Family Homes Fund, as well as the Government of Kenya, the IFC, the IIED, Institute of Surveyors of Kenya, the Kenya Property Developers Association, McKinsey Global Institute, the Nairobi City County, Shelter Afrique, UNDP, the University of Nairobi, USAID and many others, whose work is included in this portal.
