Join us in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, for a conference co-hosted by the Centre for Affordable Housing Finance in Africa (CAHF) and the African Union for Housing Finance (AUHF), 30 January – 1 February 2025, under the theme ‘Housing’s Economic Impact in Francophone Africa: Leveraging Affordable Housing to Promote Economic Growth and Development.’

Building on the success of the Roundtable in Windhoek, Namibia, where we convened with Shelter Afrique and the Namibian Government to explore the profound impact of the housing sector on African economies, this conference marks a significant milestone in sharing our work and deliberating on housing economies in West Africa. Scheduled to coincide with the 10th anniversary of CAHF and the 40th anniversary of AUHF, this event will be a momentous occasion, bringing together governmental representatives from French-speaking nations alongside key stakeholders in the housing value chain. Together, we will delve into the crucial issue of how the housing sector influences the economic landscape of French-speaking African countries.
