Laura Grelet, Project Manager. As a Project Manager at AHI, Laura focuses on improving affordable housing finance in Sub-Saharan African and the Caribbean. She engages in housing value-chain research, policy analysis, and financial modeling for government agencies and development finance institutions. Laura recently completed a study on the housing investment landscape in West and North Africa for CAHF. Additionally, along with Olivia Caldwell (AHI Principal), Laura has been working with USAID in Haiti on the Haiti Home Ownership and Mortgage Expansion (HOME) program to stimulate greater involvement of Haitian finance and private sector institutions in providing better access to affordable housing for Haitian households of all income groups. Specifically, this project has entailed designing and establishing a finance facility to allocate strategic spendsto partner institutions, as well as providing technical assistance to developers to scale up the production of housing in Haiti. Laura completed her Master’s degree in urban governance from Sciences Po Paris. Laura is fluent in French, English and Spanishand proficient in Portuguese.
